Re-entering coaching .

Individual Coaching

  • Provides support for navigating “return-to-work” anxiety and managing a high stress environment.
  • Prevents the “rubber band effect”—where an executive returns and immediately snaps back into the high-stress habits that contributed to the heart attack or critical illness.
  • Facilitates the process of “bouncing forward” using Post Traumatic Growth principles to grow, enhance resilience and develop as a leader.

Team Coaching

  • Supports the team with the re-integration of the executive as a member or leader.
  • Facilitates “psychological safety” and an escalation of trust.
  • Supports the development of a more resilient team culture.

“As a Certified Integral® coach I offer a whole person framework to address the cognitive, emotional, and physical “all-at-once” nature of heart attack recovery”.

Forced retirement coaching.

Individual Coaching

  • Supports executives in navigating the “liminal space” between the medical crisis and their unplanned exit.
  • Guides executives on their journey of turning a sudden ending into a threshold for intentional new beginnings.
  • Facilitates the development and implementation of a ”new post diagnosis or heart attack” life plan.

Team Coaching

  • Supports the team with the dual challenge of managing the shared emotional distress and ensuring organisational stability.

“True leadership isn’t forged in ease; it’s refined through challenge. I partner with leaders to navigate Post Traumatic Growth transforming the past adversity into a clear, empowered new chapter of professional influence”

Posttraumatic Growth (PTG) Coaching.

FOR CORPORATE CLIENTS

Individual Coaching

The coaching is a specialist service for executives and other professionals who experienced a life altering medical event (diagnosis, major surgery, or a cardiac event), are stable, and looking to transform that experience into a source of personal strength and renewed purpose.

It focuses on the personal transition beyond the re-entry or forced exit challenges of the first 12 months. Specifically targeting the 12-month to 5-year post-event window. At this stage executives start to experience that they don’t fit into the old normal. Just bouncing back is not working. Posttraumatic Growth Coaching help these leaders develop a “new normal” one that fits their “new way” of being in the world. One that goes beyond resilience, one that integrates their growth as a result of their struggle.

The coaching facilitates growth across five areas:

  1. Personal Strength: Realising you possess a level of resilience you never knew existed.
  2. New Possibilities: Discovering new interests, paths, or life goals that align with your changed perspective.
  3. Deepened Relationships: Developing more meaningful connections with loved ones and a greater compassion for others’ suffering.
  4. Appreciation for Life: A profound shift in how you value “small” moments and a change in what you consider a “priority.”
  5. Spiritual/Existential Clarity: Gaining a deeper understanding of your purpose and a stronger sense of peace regarding life’s big questions.

How We Work Together

This is a non-linear journey. There is no “standard” timeline for growth. As your coach, I provide Expert Companionship to help you:

  • Manage the “Aftershocks”: Tools for emotional regulation when anxiety or medical triggers arise.
  • Rewrite Your Story: Moving from a story of “loss” to a story of “gain and wisdom.”
  • Constructive Sharing: Learning how to talk about your journey in a way that empowers you and connects you to others.
  • Grow as a leader: Integrate your experience to develop a new level of leadership.

Group Coaching

It is only offered as a tailored programme for organisations seeking to support executives in the 12-month to 5-year post-event window, who are psychologically ready to move from “survival” to “transformation”.

It differs from individual coaching in that it’s a structured Group Coaching Programme tailored to the specific organisational context.

  • Structure: 8 sessions
  • Format: 90-minute bi-weekly MS Teams sessions
  • Group Size: 5–8 participants
  • Focus: Shared wisdom, support, and growth across the five areas of Post-traumatic Growth.

Primary inclusion criteria for participants

  • Time since event: Minimum of 12 months post a life altering medical event (diagnosis, major surgery, or heart attack) to allow for initial stabilisation.
  • Stability of health: Current medical status must be stable enough to allow for regular participation and cognitive reflection.
  • Self-referral intent: A stated desire to move beyond “just surviving” toward finding new meaning or purpose.
  • Commitment to the group: Ability to attend 80–90% of sessions and adhere to group norms like confidentiality and mutual respect.
  • Psychological baseline: Participants should be able to discuss their experience without becoming consistently overwhelmed or dissociative.

“While medical treatment heals the body, PTG coaching heals the narrative of your life”.

“This process honours your pain while refusing to let it be the end of your story. It is about building a life that is not just 'functional', but deeply meaningful”

“When a medical crisis strikes, it doesn’t just affect your body; it challenges your identity, your sense of safety, and your future. Posttraumatic Growth (PTG) coaching isn't about "getting back to who you were"—it’s about becoming a stronger, more intentional version of yourself because of what you’ve endured”.
