About Me.

Navigating the Transition That Changes Everything.

I specialise in supporting executives who have experienced a life-altering health event—particularly heart attacks—to move beyond survival and “bouncing back.” My work focuses on growth because of the struggle, not merely recovery from it.

As a heart attack survivor myself, I understand how abruptly a confrontation with mortality reshapes your sense of identity, ambition, and purpose. The pressure to return to work strong and composed often collides with a deeper internal shift. My coaching brings rigor, compassion, and creative design to this process.

I partner with leaders as an experienced companion—helping them rebuild their lives and careers in ways that are purposeful, sustainable, and aligned with who they are becoming.

I coach the human being, not the medical event.

“I understand the unique pressure of needing to be 'on' while your heart is telling you to 'slow down.' My coaching ensures you don't have to choose between your career and your life.”

My Coaching Approach.

I trained as an Integral Coach with New Ventures West and the UCT Graduate School of Business Centre for Coaching in Cape Town.

Integral Coaching is a holistic, whole-person approach. It integrates multiple dimensions of human experience — cognitive, emotional, relational, somatic, and spiritual.

This framework allows leaders to:

  • Develop new perspectives

  • Identify and move beyond limiting beliefs and blind spots

  • Align mind, body, and action

  • Choose more effective and life-giving responses

Especially after a critical illness, life does not shift in one dimension alone. Recovery is “all-at-once.” My coaching honours that complexity.

"True leadership isn’t forged in ease; it’s refined through challenge. I partner with leaders to navigate Post Traumatic Growth transforming the past adversity into a clear, empowered new chapter of professional influence."

My Coaching Experience.

I have been coaching since 2009.

My experience includes working with senior leaders and teams across diverse sectors, including:

  • ABSA
  • Astron Energy / Chevron
  • British American Tobacco
  • Coca-Cola
  • Flash Group
  • Imperial Logistics
  • Inuka
  • Levi Strauss
  • Payments Association of South Africa (PASA)
  • Radison Hotel Group
  • RCL Foods
  • Sereti
  • South32
  • South African Medical Research Council
  • Standard Bank Offshore
  • V&A Waterfront

I also served for eight years as a Director at the Centre for Coaching in Cape Town, South Africa. This role deepened my understanding of executive development, leadership maturity, and organisational systems — insight I now bring to every client engagement.

"I coach the human, not the medical event or trauma, ensuring your mind, body, and emotions are aligned for what’s next."

Art as Metaphor: Coaching Through Creative Insight.

Alongside my coaching, I create abstract landscape paintings using alcohol ink.

Alcohol ink is fluid, unpredictable, and impossible to fully control. It spreads, blends, and transforms in unexpected ways. For executives navigating post-medical crisis career transitions, this becomes a powerful metaphor.

The volatility of alcohol ink mirrors the loss of control and forced perspective shifts that follow a heart attack or critical illness. What first appears chaotic can, with intention and patience, form something strikingly coherent and beautiful.

My art reflects the same philosophy as my coaching:
Adversity does not end the story. It reshapes it.
